Coupling Shop - Manufacturing Lead

Summary of Duties:

• Ability to use SAP.
• Ability to create/analyze daily status/production reports.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints/log sheets.
• Coordinate and organize Toolbox meetings.
• Knowledgeof the Quality Control Inspection, CNC Lathe machine and Swage Machines, stress relieving, and end finishing Operations.
• Ability to operate the In-Touch or other similar Production System.
• Understand work assignments, priorities and good communication.
• Understand MPS.
• Understanding of Production and Coupling Shop processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Quality Control functions.
• Provide corrective and preventative actions for technical issues.
• Troubleshooting experience.
• Provide appropriate feedback to supervisors.
• Ensure all team members are focused on the appropriate jobs/tasks according to priority and complexity to meet productivity standards.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external customers, support groups, and third parties.
• Other duties assigned by manager

Requirements:

• SBD Level 2+ or equivalent external experience
• Ability to read, write and speak well in English.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions well.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience as a CNC Operator, Quality Inspector or Production Operator Level 3+. or equivalent knowledge
• Some leadership or supervision experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift a minimum of fifty pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.
• Must be able to pass applicable testing as required.
