Overview:
The Counter-UAS (C-UAS) Analysis Team Lead will oversee a multidisciplinary team responsible for analyzing, planning, and executing strategies to detect, track, identify, and defeat unmanned aerial system (UAS) threats. This role supports national security operations and contributes to the development and deployment of advanced C-UAS technologies and tactics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of analysts and engineers focused on C-UAS threat detection and mitigation.
- Develop and implement evaluation strategies for emerging C-UAS systems across multiple sensor modalities (RF, radar, acoustic, EO/IR).Conduct operational assessments and provide recommendations to senior leadership on C-UAS capabilities and gaps.
- Coordinate with military and government stakeholders to ensure alignment of C-UAS operations with mission objectives.
- Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting for C-UAS systems and technologies.
- Analyze raw data and produce actionable intelligence reports and technical assessments.
- Support acquisition and integration of C-UAS systems, including vendor evaluations and system performance reviews.
- Represent the organization in working groups, briefings, and interagency coordination efforts.
- Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
Qualifications:
Required:
- ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Intelligence, or related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of experience in defense, intelligence, or C-UAS operations.
- Strong understanding of sensor technologies and layered defense architectures.
- Experience test & evaluation, and operational planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
Desired:
- Experience with RF spectrum analysis, radar systems, and signal processing.
- Familiarity with NATO or joint force ISR/C-UAS operations.
