Job description:

We are hiring a reliable, customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our supply store in Basalt. This role requires someone who can start immediately and confidently assist customers with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities

• Help customers select supply parts, tools, and fixtures
• Provide clear product guidance and recommend solutions
• Process transactions using POS systems (cash and card)
• Maintain organized, well-stocked shelves and displays
• Answer phone inquiries and support daily store operations

Qualifications

• Previous supply, hardware, or retail experience preferred
• Ability to start immediately and work independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Assist homeowners, contractors, and walk-in customers in selecting the right parts, fixtures, and tools
• Provide clear, practical product guidance and recommend solutions based on customer needs
• Accurately process transactions using POS systems (cash, card, and account sales)
• Maintain organized, fully stocked shelves and professional store presentation
• Proactively suggest add-on items and promote current specials
• Answer phone inquiries and provide quick, helpful support
• Support inventory tasks including restocking and basic tracking
• Step in to help guide daily workflow and support team operations when needed
