Now hiring: Counselor in Training | Direct Hire

Location: Russellville, AR

Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Shift: 8 AM-4:30 PM | Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

  • QBHP (Qualified Behavioral Health Professional) Certification required.
  • Previous experience in a residential or outpatient addiction treatment setting required.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and behavioral health services.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience facilitating or assisting with group counseling sessions preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Responsibilities & Job Duties:

  • Provide supervised client care and support within residential and outpatient addiction treatment programs.
  • Assist with client assessments, screenings, and intake processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions under clinical supervision.
  • Monitor client progress and communicate updates to the treatment team.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client documentation.
  • Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Educate clients on recovery resources, coping strategies, and relapse prevention techniques.
  • Support a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment.
  • Adhere to all ethical, professional, regulatory, and organizational standards.
