Cost EstimatorLocation: Remote – Atlanta, GAOverviewWe are looking for a Cost Estimator to support the Cost Management division. The candidate will develop cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, provide client service, interact with contractors, and manage cost controls through construction administration.Essential FunctionsDevelop construction cost budgets from preliminary, schematic, design, and construction documents for projects such as retail restaurants, sitework, and vendor items.Compare budget costs to benchmark pricing, analyze quantities and scope items, and assist in value engineering.Enhance cost control service delivery by increasing efficiency, improving processes, and managing cost changes.Develop and maintain historical cost benchmarks for various project types.Prioritize requests to meet or exceed customer expectations.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.3 to 5 years of experience in cost management and understanding of CSI trade costs.Experience in Construction Management or Real Estate is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to communicate analytical data to client and team to achieve project goals.Working knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings.Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.Highly organized with strong analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to support Business Development initiatives.Strong interpersonal skills, including interaction with customer and JLL executives.Ability to communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, client representatives, and team members.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and project software such as RS Means, Onscreen Center, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift.CompensationEstimated compensation: 95,000.00 – 120,000.00 USD per yearBenefits401(k) plan with matching company contributionsComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision CarePaid parental leave at 100% of salaryPaid Time Off and Company HolidaysEarly access to earned wages through Daily PayEmployment InformationAccepting applications on an ongoing basis until candidate identified.Equal Employment OpportunityJones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”) is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
