Cost Engineer Schedule: Part-Time – Approximately 10 hours per week Employment Type: Contract Pay Rate: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Engineer to support our client’s project cost analysis and estimation activities. This role involves collaborating with clients and project stakeholders to evaluate cost drivers, develop accurate estimates, and monitor expenditures throughout the lifecycle of projects. Key Responsibilities Meet with clients to discuss the scope and scale of projects Travel to job sites (as needed) to gather information on materials, labor, and other cost factors Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and architects to align on project requirements Consult with industry experts to validate cost assumptions and estimates Identify and quantify all cost elements associated with each project Utilize cost estimating software and tools to develop accurate projections Prepare and present detailed cost reports for clients Review and analyze expenditure statements throughout all project phases Required Qualifications Proven experience in Cost Estimation Proficient in Should Cost Analysis Familiarity with Twenty5 Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications Proficiency with cost estimating software and spreadsheets We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
