YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Cost Accountant is responsible forproviding financial services to the project including contract review, billings, work-in-place reporting, subcontractor and general condition payments, and cash reporting. The Cost Accountant is the lead person to support project accounting. As an integral part of theprojectteam.Thepositionacts asaconsultanttoeachProjectManagerandourinternalcustomers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Performspecialprojectauditsandanalysisas.Includingcostvs.budgetreview,billingvs. cost, and tracking projected margin throughout the project duration.
Assistandcoordinateaccountingfunctionswithotherprojectofficesasneeded.
Coordinatewithexternalauditorsonannualandspecialauditfunctionsrelatedtocontracts,as necessary.
UtilizeOracleR12accountingsoftwaretoperformjournalentries,enterbudgets,andopennew projects.
AssistintrainingOraclesystemtoOperationstaff.
Providesupportforotherdepartmentsandprojectstoassistintheiradministrativeneeds.
Coordinatewithothercorporatefinancialandaccountingmanagementstafftoassuretimelyand accurate operations between the financial functions.
WorkwithOperatingManagersmonthlytoreviewjobstatusforproperrecognitionofprofit.Some travel may be .
Takegeneralmanagementdirectionfromimmediatesupervisor.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
AssociatedegreeinFinanceorAccounting;Bachelor’sDegreepreferred

WORKINGCONDITIONS:
