Job Description:

Reporting to the Site Finance Head, this role supports financial planning, reporting, compliance, and control activities for the Marietta manufacturing site, with specific responsibility for finance business partnering for Engineering, Planning, and Logistics team

  • Support site financial processes, reporting, and control activities and provide coverage for the Site Finance Head as needed.
  • Provide primary finance support to Engineering, Planning, and Logistics for budget development, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost center management.
  • Review and oversee completion of the month-end SAP toll process executed by the SMAS Hub.
  • Prepare product costing and cost estimates for new products using standard toll manufacturing costing methods.
  • Maintain the fixed asset ledger and support closure of assets under construction projects.
  • Provide financial support for site projects, including capital investment initiatives.
  • Support reporting, issue resolution, and implementation activities with local, regional, and global teams.
  • Support preparation of the Annual Plan including OPEX, Recoveries and Standard Product Costing
  • Prepare & review intercompany transaction processing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform local review of financial data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with site and company requirements
  • Requirements:

    • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, fixed assets, cost accounting, and/or general ledger accounting.
    • Experience using SAP or another enterprise resource planning system for financial transactions and reporting.
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentation of financial information.
    • Experience supporting financial processes, month-end activities, and business partnering within an operational and/or manufacturing environment
    • Maintain the fixed asset ledger and support closure of assets under construction projects.
    • Provide financial support for site projects, including capital investment initiatives.
    • Support reporting, issue resolution, and implementation activities with local, regional, and global teams.
    • Support preparation of the Annual Plan including OPEX, Recoveries and Standard Product Costing

    • Strong communication and presentation skills are required

     

    • CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
    • Communication and presentation skills to support interaction with site leadership, cost center managers, and cross-functional teams.
    • Experience working across engineering, planning, logistics, and operations functions in a manufacturing environment.
    • Analytical skills and attention to detail for financial reporting, variance analysis, product costing, and month-end activities.
    • Forecasting, budgeting, and cost management skills within an operational or manufacturing setting.
    • Knowledge of fixed assets, capital project accounting, and assets under construction processes.
    • Working knowledge of internal controls, financial compliance requirements, and accurate transaction recording.
    • Working knowledge of Pennsylvania state Sales & Use Tax compliance.
