Are you a detail-driven finance professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful business insights? We're looking for a Cost Accountant to partner closely with operations and play a key role in driving cost efficiency, improving margins, and strengthening financial performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This is a highly visible role where your analysis and recommendations will directly influence decision-making and operational success.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational performance
Ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation through analysis and cycle count oversight
Maintain and update standard costs, including leading the annual cost roll process
Provide margin analysis and actionable insights to operations leadership
Support daily and monthly P&L reporting and financial analysis
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
Lead physical inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
Support ERP system enhancements and process improvements
Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Make a direct impact on business performance and profitability
Work closely with operations and leadership teams
