Cost Accountant

As a Cost Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring precise financial reporting and robust financial controls. Your responsibilities will span general accounting, cost accounting, analysis, and budgeting. You will be instrumental in conducting continuous procedural reviews and updates to align with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate Detailed Reports: Provide Plant Management with comprehensive reports on production costs and variances.
• Cost Accounting System: Maintain and analyze the cost accounting system, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
• Inventory Oversight: Manage monthly and annual inventory counts of raw materials and finished goods.
• Month-End Closing: Execute month-end closing tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, a sense of urgency, and initiative.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel skills; SAP experience is a significant advantage.
