For more information, visit www.enovis.com.What You'll DoAs a key member of the Finance Team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.Job Title / High‑Level Position SummaryCost AccountantReports To: Director, FinanceLocation: This position may be based at any of the following Enovis locations:Austin, TexasHouston, TexasLewisville, TexasCandidates must be able to work from one of these office locations in accordance with the role's onsite/hybrid work requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform month‑end close activities related to cost accounting.Prepare various financial analyses related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information as needed for decision‑making support.Review and set up new raw‑material, packaging, WIP (work in progress), and FG (finished good) items; review Production BOMs and routers; maintain periodic cost rolls and updates.Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services to determine effects on costs; analyze actual production costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.Record cost information for use in controlling expenditures.Prepare estimates of new and proposed product or service costs.Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.Develop and maintain standard costs of finished goods and production components in a worldwide ERP system.Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.Ensure validity and accuracy of ERP through analysis, internal audit, and coordination with inventory control, production and work order processing.Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.Represent Finance/Accounting on teams designed to improve operations and reduce costs.Minimum Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance; medical manufacturing industry experience is a plus.Hands‑on ERP experience – Netsuite and/or Oracle preferred.5+ years of accounting experience, 3+ years in cost accounting preferred.3+ years of operational experience, especially with inventory.Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions.English level: Advanced.Strong grasp of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts.Extremely strong Excel skills, especially advanced financial modeling and analytical techniques.Demonstrated ability to streamline and automate complex processes.CMA, CPCA or CCA preferred.BenefitsMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceSpending and savings accounts401(k) planVacation, sick leave, and holidaysIncome protection plansDiscounted insurance ratesLegal servicesEqual Employment OpportunityEnovis provides equal employment opportunities based on merit, experience, and other work‑related criteria without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
