Administers corrosion control program for region. Accountable for related activities, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance of all corrosion control facilities for maximum efficiency and safety. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures mandated by state and federal pipeline safety regulations.
The onsite office location could be in: Colton, CA; Carson, CA; Mission Valley, CA; Phoenix, AZ; or Tucson, AZ terminal.
What You Will Do
Education:
A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a valid State driver's license is required.
If the employee is subject to license or certification requirements or training as stipulated by either current or future local, state, or federal agencies or the Company, compliance is required under this job description.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience in some combination of engineering, project management, quality control, DOT pipeline safety or risk management. Familiarity with pipeline operations, project management, risk management concepts, engineering principles, and DOT Part 195 regulations.
• Understanding of basic statistics and cost/benefit analysis.
• In-depth working knowledge of pipeline operations, project management, risk management concepts, engineering principles, and DOT Part 195 regulations
• Design, construction, and troubleshooting of corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection systems.
• Practices, procedures, tools, materials, and equipment used in cathodic protection of refined oil pipelines.
• Corrosion instrumentation.
• Occupational hazards and required safety precautions related to assigned duties.
• Pipeline operations and location.
• Utility operations and right-of-way.
Compensation:
Pay range is $128,000 to $192,000 annually. This position includes a discretionary annual incentive plan. Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill set.
