Correctional Registered Nurse Hours

  • 5x8 hour shifts per week - includes every other weekend
  • Shift - 2pm-10:30pm

Correctional Registered Nurse Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $53.00-58.00 per hour paid weekly
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees.

Correctional Registered Nurse Responsibilities

  • Conducting physical assessments and evaluating inmate health concerns
  • Administering medications, injections, and treatments
  • Responding to medical emergencies and sick calls
  • Monitoring chronic conditions and medication compliance
  • Assisting doctors and medical providers with care plans
  • Documenting care in medical records
  • Providing health education to inmates and staff

Correctional Registered Nurse Requirements

  • Licensed RN
