This role requires heavy travel the first 3-6 monthsWe are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to own and advance our safety culture across a network of distribution branches and warehouse facilities. This is a hands‑on leadership role — you will develop, implement, and continuously improve programs that protect our people, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce risk across all operations.Key responsibilities Lead and standardize the company-wide safety program across all branches and warehouse locationsConduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsInvestigate incidents, near‑misses, and hazards; drive corrective actionMaintain full compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulationsDesign and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levelsTrack, analyze, and report safety metrics to senior leadershipManage DOT compliance for fleet and transportation operationsPartner with branch managers to build and sustain a culture of safety accountabilityQualifications 5+ years of safety management experience in a distribution, warehousing, or industrial environmentIn-depth knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) and 1926 (Construction) standardsProven track record managing multi‑site safety programsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levelsProficiency in incident management and root cause analysisAbility to travel regularly to branch locations (up to 40%)Preferred CSP, ASP, or CHST certificationExperience with workers' compensation and claims managementFamiliarity with industrial products and distribution operations#J-18808-Ljbffr
