Non-Negotiables

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory for this role
  • At least ten years of progressive experience in sensor product development is required
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams spanning electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems disciplines is essential
  • Strong background in electronic-based products with embedded microcontrollers, sensors, and firmware is non-negotiable

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of sensor products for both the U.S. and global markets
  • Drive the design and launch of electronic-based products incorporating embedded microcontrollers, sensors, and firmware
  • Direct multidisciplinary engineering teams including electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering
  • Manage engineering groups across U.S. and international locations to deliver innovative sensor solutions
  • Set product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with market demands from concept through production
  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
  • Coordinate with global teams and travel internationally to support projects and drive collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master's degree in engineering or an MBA is a plus
  • Experience with smart sensors and embedded technology stacks is highly valued
