Overview Riverside Resources is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join our team in Austin. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to broaden their experience in corporate accounting while working alongside an experienced team in the commercial real estate industry.The Corporate Accountant will support corporate and portfolio-level accounting functions, assist with financial reporting, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our accounting operations. This role offers exposure to a variety of accounting responsibilities and the opportunity to grow professionally within a collaborative organization.What You'll Do Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesPrepare and post journal entries while maintaining general ledger accuracyReconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactionsAssist with internal financial reporting and preparation of financial statementsSupport budgeting and forecasting activitiesCollaborate with the Property Accounting team on portfolio reporting and financial analysisMaintain organized accounting records and supporting documentationAssist with annual audits and compliance reportingIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficienciesSupport special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as neededWhat We're Looking For Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance2–4+ years of corporate accounting experienceExperience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliationsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlinesPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to learnPreferred Qualifications Experience in commercial real estate accountingFamiliarity with concepts such as CAM reconciliations, lease structures, and property financial reportingExperience using Yardi or similar accounting softwareWhy Riverside?
