    This Core Engineer hire exists to build robust full-stack systems that integrate with complex legacy environments and support high-value supply chain operations. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, fast-shipping engineer who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments — a backend-leaning full-stack developer proficient in TypeScript, Svelte (or React/Next.js), and Postgres. Open to any seniority level, including new grads, provided they can architect systems independently and demonstrate end-to-end project ownership. Must be willing to work strictly on-site in San Francisco.

    Our client is a seed-stage startup building an AI-native platform to modernize defense, aerospace, and industrial supply chains. Backed by top-tier investors, with 7-figure ARR, the company is replacing legacy 1980s systems with autonomous operations.


    What we're looking for

    • Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and at least one modern frontend library (Svelte, React, Next.js)
    • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, specifically writing and optimizing complex queries (Postgres preferred)
    • A verifiable portfolio of shipped work (at least one full-stack project via GitHub repo, web app, or recorded demo)
    • US citizen, current visa holder, or eligible for E2/O-1 visa sponsorship


    Nice to have

    • Experience architecting systems independently from scratch
    • Background in high-accountability, fast-paced startup environments (e.g., YC alumni)
    • Prior experience or demonstrated enthusiasm for defense, aerospace, or industrial supply chain domains
