Overview:
Coordinates backorder and product allocations associated with product shortages that require product substitutions or the need for permanent product replacement. Acts as a liaison in between suppliers, supply chain peers, and clinical areas to prioritize and reduce supply disruption. Exercises discretion and independent judgment. Performs other proactive tasks to mitigate future risks.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Five (5) years of supply chain experience can substitute for the degree requirement.
- Minimum 4 years of supply chain experience required, medical supply chain experience is preferred. Experience may consist of supplier negotiations, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, contracting, and/or informatics. Position requires initiative and the ability to work independently, demonstrating organizational skills and flexibility. Proven ability to problem-solve, clearly communicate, and intermediate use of Microsoft Office is essential.
