The Raymond 4K-8 School District is seeking a talented, collaborative, and student-centered Teaching and Learning Coordinator. The position has multiple layers. This person will be expected to:

  • Oversee building assessments as the District Assessment Coordinator/School Assessment Coordinator.
  • Manage the implementation of Next Path for data collection/analysis.
  • Assist with the collaborative Master Schedule development for the school and district.
  • Manage all academic reporting and student/classroom scheduling in tandem with administrative assistant support.
  • Assist other leadership in developing and implementing ongoing professional development.
  • Creation and management of school-wide assessment calendar.
  • Implement Multi-tiered systems and support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), research-based interventions, and progress monitoring.
  • Assist with evaluation of teaching staff in off-cycle years based on the educator effectiveness model (shared duties with the Superintedent/Principal).
  • Ensure curriculum fidelity and report student progress and achievement to the board of education and the community. Assist in implementation of systemic, highly intensive research- based interventions to improve student academic achievement in reading and math
  • Oversee the ongoing evaluation/fidelity monitoring of highly intensive, research-based intervention programs and make recommendations regarding program implementation
  • Provide ongoing collaboration/coaching frequently with classroom teachers to best promote student academic growth and identify and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying learning styles.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding student data and needed support.

The Coordinator of Teaching and Learning works closely with the Superintendent/Principal, Director of Special Education, 1.5 FTE building interventionists, and classroom teachers. Continue to meet as a Professional learning community and lead periodic data dives

Applicants must have a Reading Specialist certification (5017) or be willing and able to obtain one within the first year of employment.

Salary and benefits will be negotiated based on candidate qualifications and experience with a salary range of $80,000 to $95,000, plus benefits for Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance. We offer Cash in Lieu to any applicant who waives our health insurance.

NOTE: In addition to candidates with the Reading Specialist License, the District will consider candidates with Principal or Director of Instruction licenses.
