Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling or School Psychology. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university. Licenses: One of the following licenses: Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (cannot be an Intern License) Other Requirements: Possession of valid driver's license Proof of insurability Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of the Individual Education Program (IEP) process. Experience providing in-service training. Knowledge and/or experience with a Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA), school district operations and an array of special education placement and service options. Experience working as a School District Psychologist and/or School Clinical Counselor. Experience: Two (2) years of experience providing psychological counseling services in a California School District or County Office of Education. Two (2) years of experience in providing crisis counseling and related services. Two (2) years of experience in a leadership role supervising counselors or interns.

We are one of four elementary (TK-8) school districts in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. We have 10 schools: 8 elementary (TK-5) and 2 junior high (6-8) schools with an enrollment of 5,500 students. If selected, required fingerprint verification at an approximate cost of $52 to the employee and proof of TB clearance (within 4 years) at employee's cost or a "Certificate of Completion" signed by a licensed health care provider for the Adult TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire and a Certificate of Completion for the CA Mandated Reporter Training.
