Job Title Coordinator of Business and Specialty Careers Job Description
The Coordinator of Business & Specialty Careers supports the planning, promotion, coordination, and implementation of Workforce Development and Community Education (WDCE) programs. This position plays a key role in assisting the Director of Business & Specialty Careers with program development, delivery, and evaluation.
The coordinator works collaboratively with internal departments, instructors, businesses, and community partners to ensure high-quality training opportunities that align with workforce needs. This role combines program coordination, customer service, and administrative support to help expand participation and enhance the visibility of WDCE offerings.

Essential functions: Positions require lifting, manual dexterity, ability to communicate, ability to sit and/or stand for long periods, ability to move between classrooms, buildings, and campuses, ability to express or exchange ideas, and good eye/hand dexterity. Exposure to bodily fluids and hazardous chemicals.
Medium work: Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 15 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body; involves sitting only occasionally, walking and standing are required regularly, incumbents may be required to kneel, crouch/squat, crawl, climb, stoop, turn/twist, balance, reach, or handle.
Mental Application: Utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, critical thinking, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills are important.
Salary Grade Salary Salary Range: $40,000 to $50,000 based on education and experience in accordance with the college salary plan.
