Summary The nursing program lab coordinator supports the daily operations of the nursing skills and simulation laboratories by ensuring all instructional spaces are clean, organized, fully stocked, and prepared for faculty-led lab and simulation activities.

Support the academic mission of the Nursing Program by contributing to high-quality, organized, and safe laboratory and simulation learning environments that promote student success and skills development.
Coordinate and support nursing skills and simulation laboratories, including preparation, breakdown, inventory management, and equipment organization to ensure instructional readiness for faculty-led lab and simulation activities.
Collaborate with nursing faculty, staff, and program leadership to support instructional needs, special projects, and continuous improvement of laboratory operations and learning spaces.
Demonstrate interpersonal effectiveness, professionalism, and respect in all interactions with students, faculty, staff, and administrators by functioning as a reliable team member and supporting a positive, student-centered learning environment.
Providing an unwavering example of professionalism.
Complete any other requirements as requested by the dean.

Required Qualifications - Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)
Associates degree (preferable in healthcare area)
Knowledge of nursing/medical equipment as demonstrated by experience in health profession
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills, and abilities commonly associated with this position.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative for projects related to duties
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
Ability to be organized and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canvas
Work Environment - Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
