Position Summary: Provide professional and expert coordination of all internal training and education for the UT LIFESTAR medical transport system. This will include accountability for air (UT LIFESTAR) and ground (UT LIFESTAR EMS) clinical teams. The coordinator will bring clinical relevance, current clinical credentials and leadership expertise to the role for the purpose of ensuring the highest level of quality in the care provided by all transport nurses, paramedics, and EMT's. The coordinator will develop and execute a curriculum consistent with or surpassing state regulations, CAMTS guidelines, and UT Medical standards. Professional collaboration with UT Medical service lines, clinical services, vendors, and state and regulatory entities will be a continued expectation. The coordinator will also be accountable for the UT LIFESTAR Clinical Quality program, working to identify and monitor KPI's to ensure our patients receive the best level of care. Position Qualification: Education Degree / Diploma Type Program Required/Preferred (and/or) Bachelors Required Masters Preferred Associates Degree, Bachelor's degree (BS/BA/BSN) or enroll in a Bachelor's degree program or advanced degree program and obtain a Bachelor's degree within 2 years of hire date into position. Three to five years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's Degree in nursing, business, or health related field preferred 4 years previous flight experience * Education/instructor experience Experience Years of Experience Type of Experience Required/Preferred (and/or) 5 years Required At least 5 years of Critical Care Transport and 3 years' experience in education/ training.
