Salary Range: $24.00 to $27.00/hr

JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator II for the Susan S. Morrison School of Nursing (SoN) provides operational and administrative coordination to support the effective day-to-day functioning of the academic unit. This position is responsible for organizing and executing administrative processes, coordinating program logistics, and supporting faculty, staff, and students. The Coordinator II plays a key role in ensuring efficient operations through strong organization, communication, and attention to detail. This position is part of the MFCOH centralized administrative team and is assigned occasional tasks for the MFCOH Dean’s office.
This position reports to the Administrative Manager within the Morrison Family College of Health (MFCOH) and takes on occasional projects with dean’s office as part of a centralized team. Day-to-day work direction, prioritization, and task assignment are provided by the Executive Director, School of Nursing to support the operational needs of the academic unit.
This position works under limited supervision and is responsible for coordinating administrative and operational activities in support of the School of Nursing. The role requires regular interaction with faculty, staff, students, and college-level partners, and supports multiple concurrent priorities through established processes and systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Academic Program & Student Support Coordination
- Respond to general inquiries from current students, prospective students, faculty, and staff. Refers any complex inquiries to an appropriate person.
- Coordinate logistics for student-facing activities such as onboarding, orientation, and enrollment support
- Assist with preparation and distribution of program-related materials and communications
- Support faculty and staff with administrative needs related to course and program operations
Administrative & Operational Coordination
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and scheduling unit level activities
- Prepare and distribute meeting materials including agendas and minutes for committees and key meetings
- Maintain and update shared systems (e.g., SharePoint, distribution lists, program records)
- Serve as a primary point of contact for general inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and direct requests to triage to others
- Support general office coordination (e.g., monitoring and ordering supplies) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Admissions Support
- Coordinate admissions processes for nursing programs by tracking documents and communicating with applicants
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students by responding to inquiries
- Prepare and organize admissions materials for faculty committee review
- Maintain accurate admissions records using institutional systems to comply with policies and deadlines
Event & Meeting Coordination
- Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including scheduling, space reservations, catering, and materials
- Track RSVPs and manage event-related communications
- Provide on-site coordination and support during events as needed (e.g. taking minutes, technology support)
- Support recurring committee and program meetings through scheduling and logistics management
Accreditation & Compliance Support
- Maintain program records and documentation in alignment with university and accreditation requirements
- Support data tracking and reporting processes for program operations
- Assist in organizing materials for compliance-related activities and reviews
Financial & Administrative Processing
- Process reimbursements and payments in accordance with university policies and procedures
- Track and reconcile expenses using designated systems (e.g., Wells One)
- Support administrative aspects of budget tracking through data entry and documentation
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with MFCOH administrative team members to support shared processes and initiatives
- Participate as note-taker in assigned committees or workgroups as a representative of the School of Nursing
- Coordinate assigned tasks related to college-level initiatives, as directed
SoN Leadership Support
- Assist with scheduling meetings, travel coordination, and meeting management for Executive Director, School of Nursing
- Supports program directors with unit level coordination and tasks required for the overall functioning of the program
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of administrative or program coordination experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience working in higher education setting
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
