- Supervises the cataloging staff in the creation and updating of MARC records for district libraries.
- Manages the order of jobs and assignments for special projects. Manages the district purchased media and equipment workflow throughout the facility and out to district libraries.
- Determine needs for supplies/order and monitors supplies for the Library Media services units.
- Manages the clean up of libraries in schools. Supervises the opening and/or closing (setup or boxing) of district libraries.
- Leads in providing electronic, mechanical, and technical expertise in the repair of the district library computer peripherals, both in the shop and in the field
- Liaison with Desktop Services in the repairs of desktop/laptop computers for the district libraries.
- Manages the TAC responsibilities for Library Media Services and the delegation of tickets. Utilizes TAC effectively in daily tasks as well as databases made available for use.
- Makes site visits to district libraries.
- Assists A/V Repair Technicians and librarians in completing TAC entries and with ERR procedures. Serves as reference to librarians on purchases, decaling, and equipment removals. Handles and documents warranty issues on library computers and a/v equipment for the schools and the unit.
- Monitors departmental supplies and seeks vendors to fulfill requests.
- Enters and monitors departmental project work orders.
