Examples of Duties

  • HACs are responsible for creating a climate that supports student success, personal development, and high levels of resident engagement. HACs will also support summer assignments related to conferences and events, summer session housing, and new student orientation. Responsibilities often extend into weekend and evening/early morning hours.

A strong candidate is one who has innovative ideas, can multitask; works well with others, and can approach projects collaboratively towards the holistic development of the individual academically, psychologically, and physically. All RHDs are partners in supporting students. While each staff member has specific duties and program responsibilities, the person who will thrive in this position is one who can observe and support students and staff effortlessly.
