SUMMARY
In support to the University's mission and objectives, the Grant Research and Project Coordinator support the administration of the Florida Cooperative of Theological Schools Lilly Endowment Grant. This position assists with grant data collection, reporting, communication, and project coordination across partner institutions. The coordinator works with university departments, cooperative partners, and the Steering Committee to help ensure timely reporting, accurate records, and effective implementation of grant activities. This role also supports the preparation of annual and semi-annual reports and conducts research related to grant initiatives and outcomes.
Grant Data Collection and Research
- Coordinates cross-institutional data collection processes related to grant key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Serves as the primary coordinator for data requests among cooperative partners and relevant university offices.
- Maintains grant records, data files, and reporting schedules.
- Prepares and summarizes data for grant reports and internal reviews.
- Researches best practices and emerging trends related to grant initiatives.
- Assists with evaluating and reporting on the impact of grant-funded activities.
Grant Operations & Communication
- Serves as a point of contact for grant-related communications among partners and stakeholders.
- Coordinates with university departments to support marketing, events, financial tracking, and compliance activities.
- Processes and track expenses related to grant programs and events.
- Supports Steering Committee meetings by preparing materials, tracking action items, and following up on assigned tasks.
- Maintains communication with the School of Ministry regarding grant activities and deadlines.
Reporting & Documentation
- Assists with the preparation of annual and semi-annual grant reports.
- Drafts, edits, and formats report content, data summaries, and supporting materials.
- Compiles required documentation and ensures reporting requirements are met.
- Monitors reporting deadlines and submission schedules.
- Supports the preparation of additional grant-related reports as needed.
Project Support
- Assists with tracking grant objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Identifies and communicates project needs or concerns.
- Responds to grant-related information requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Master's degree required
EXPERIENCE
2+ years of professional experience supporting projects, grants, research, reporting, or administrative operations. Experience in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or grant-funded programs is preferred.
