Job Responsibilities
- Process simple to complex incoming payments to customer invoices/accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Research and resolve cash application issues using appropriate systems.
- Adapt quickly to changes from new systems, plans, and benefit designs.
- Consistently meet or exceed business objectives in productivity, accuracy, and cycle time.
- Communicate effectively with managers, team members, and clients, escalating issues when necessary.
- Run assigned queries and reports weekly and monthly.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- 3 years of experience in cash application or insurance-related processes.
- SAP knowledge and experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask/prioritize issues.
- Flexibility in working both in a team and individual environments.
Preferences
- Previous AS400 knowledge and experience.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations and systems.
- Experience or knowledge of vision benefits and/or the insurance industry.
