Primary Purpose:
Facilitate the planning, evaluation, and delivery of the Section 504 and Dyslexia programs. Coordinate and implement all state and federal mandated assessments.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Certification:
- Master's degree, preferred
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Specific knowledge of providing Section 504 services, including dyslexia interventions
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of state and federal mandated assessments
- Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
- Ability to facilitate and/or lead meetings related to Section 504 and dyslexia services and state testing procedures
Experience:
- Minimum of three years successful teaching experience
Work Schedule: 197 days
