JOB SUMMARY

This Coordinator 1 - Unit CTE Support supports a portfolio of campuses with executing on district CTE and CCMR strategy. The role works closely with a team of Coordinator Is and their assigned division support. Relevant activities include implementing program compliance systems, delivering district-wide trainings, supporting CTE curriculum execution, supporting scheduling and credential acquisition.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES List most important duties first

  1. Drive IBC outcomes by monitoring testing, supporting logistics, and ensuring assessments and interventions are executed

  2. Maintain and validate data trackers weekly, analyze trends, and support campus action planning to close gaps; Provide consistent, data-driven updates on progress, trends, and risks to inform next steps and escalation

  3. Facilitate PLCs and district PD sessions focused on industry-aligned instruction, exemplars, and IBC rigor

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED

  1. Support curriculum implementation by ensuring alignment to TEKS, pacing guides, and IBC expectations

  2. Partner with campus leaders and teachers to strengthen scheduling, implementation, and student outcomes

  3. Coordinate operational needs including devices, testing readiness, field trips, work-based learning, and external business partnership initiatives

EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

1-3 years. Previous experience as a teacher, particularly in CTE, preferred;

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Work Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading.

WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT

Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an as needed basis.

Acts as a trusted advisor and becomes involved in the customers decision-making process including presenting alternatives and information and applying persuasion and negotiation skills in the resolution of problems.
