Cooker Operator
The Cooker Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring PLC-controlled machinery to ensure the cooking process runs efficiently and within selected parameters. This role requires close monitoring of pumps, grinders, and related equipment to maintain product quality and safety standards.
What youll do:- Operate PLC systems to control and monitor cooking machinery
- Monitor pumps, grinders, and processing equipment to ensure quality assurance
- Operate the cooking process within selected operational parameters
- Blow grease lines as required
- Perform general cleanup duties, including shoveling floors, hosing down floors and machinery, and using wheelbarrows and PIT equipment
- Accurately document plant operations in accordance with GMP standards
- Notify the shift manager of any operational issues or maintenance concerns
- Attend and participate in all required safety meetings
- Maintain a safe, controlled, and compliant work environment
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred
