Cook - Key Job Duties
Prepare and serve nutritious, appetizing meals according to approved recipes, menus, and dietary requirements.
Review daily menus and ensure meals are prepared accurately and served on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with food safety, infection control, and health regulations.
Follow all dietary, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
Monitor food quality, kitchen equipment, and supplies; report maintenance issues or concerns to management.
Assist with food preparation, service line setup, inventory rotation, freezer maintenance, and scheduled kitchen cleaning.
Complete required documentation and promptly report accidents, incidents, resident concerns, or dietary-related issues.
Support resident satisfaction by providing courteous service and responding to individual dietary needs.
Participate in required training, staff meetings, and continuing education programs.
Perform other food service and kitchen-related duties as assigned.T
