The Opportunity

We are seeking Cooks to work at high-volume airport restaurants with the opportunity to grow and advance. Work for well-known restaurants that are Kansass City based.

RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES

Prepare food for service. Using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
Maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment.
Assists in controlling product costs by ensuring the proper management of product waste.
Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
Speed and efficiency are of the utmost importance. Ability to multi-task and organizational structure.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Can communicate effectively in English
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
