Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.:
Deliver fast, friendly, and professional service to guests and culinary team members
Greet and warmly welcome each guest approaching the station
Maintain accurate, up-to-date knowledge of food items, including preparation techniques, seasonings, and ingredients
Prepare food items to guest specifications, including breakfast dishes, entrees, and desserts
Apply proper cooking methods and ensure food is cooked to specification
Handle, store, and rotate food in compliance with health and safety standards
Slice, dice, chop, and prepare raw ingredients as needed
Carve meats, portion food, add gravies and sauces, and garnish plates for presentation
Maintain a clean and safe workstation by wiping counters, sinks, and floors as needed
Ensure cleanliness of designated areas in accordance with health and safety protocols
Monitor and maintain par levels of supplies and food products; restock from warehouse inventory as needed
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils according to safety guidelines
Provide personalized service, using guests’ names, when possible, to enhance the experience
Stay informed about current casino events and promotions; assist guests with directions and information
BRING US YOUR BEST.:
Minimum three years’ experience in a high-volume food service operation
Strong knowledge of kitchen sanitation practices, safe operation, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Basic proficiency in food preparation techniques
Familiarity with weights, measurements, and recipe yields
Possess and maintain essential culinary tools (e.g., knives) required for daily operations
Ability to read, write legibly, understand, and speak English
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Responsive to visual and auditory cues in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in high-temperature areas
Able to tolerate exposure to industry-standard cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
Capable of maintaining speed and efficiency in crowded or noisy settings
Must maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards
