Cook (IHOP)

LV Petroleum is a rapidly growing operator of travel centers, consisting of gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a quick serve/fast food kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or dietary department. This role is essential in ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served to our guests. If you have a love for food preparation and culinary arts, we want to hear from you!

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cook in the food service or food industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy customer needs.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
