Facility: Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center
Location: Hazlet, New Jersey
Shift: Full -Time | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, every otherweekend
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
About the Role:
Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Cook to prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare meals according to planned menus, dietary guidelines, and portion standards.
Ensure meals are appetizing and well-presented.
Follow recipes and accommodate special dietary needs.
Provide meal substitutions and bedtime snacks as needed.
Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safe storage.
Assist with food prep for facility events.
Qualifications:
1 year of experience in healthcare, hospital, or nursing home food service preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
