Mercer Manor Rehabilitation is actively hiring a Cook to join our team. If you can cook, stay organized, and follow dietary guidelines, we want to talk to you.
This is a full-time, direct hire role-no agency, no uncertainty.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.28/hour
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and serve meals following set menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure meals look good, taste good, and meet safety standards
- Check trays for correct diets before service
- Follow all kitchen, sanitation, and food safety procedures
- Work with dietary staff, nursing, and the dietitian as needed
What You Need:
- At least 1 year of cooking or dietary experience preferred (we will train the right person)
- Healthcare or nursing facility experience is a plus-not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Dependable, team-oriented, and ready to work
