We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our team in a busy corporate caf environment. The ideal candidate has strong skills in sandwich and salad preparation, works well in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in producing fresh, high-quality food.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of gourmet sandwiches, wraps, and fresh salads
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow recipes and portion standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed
- Assist with prep work, stocking, and maintaining a clean workstation
- Work collaboratively with the caf team during breakfast and lunch service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook, deli cook, or sandwich/salad maker
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of fresh ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Food handler certification is a plus
Schedule:
Monday Friday (daytime hours)
No nights or weekends
