Line Cook
The Hilton Garden Inn Jeffersonville, Indiana Hotel is looking for a skilled line cook for the mornings. This position directly contributes to our guest satisfaction as it is perceived in the dining experience. If you are a great team player, we would love to talk with you!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Cook, prep, and plate restaurant and/or banquet food
- Keep your work area clean during your shift
- Prep salad station and lunch/dinner line throughout shift
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment (flat top grill, char grill, slicer, etc.)
- Wrap, label, and date all food items
- Other relevant tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting
- Experience with various cooking methods and techniques
- Knowledge of best practices for food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Team player with good communication skills
