Controls Project Manager – BMS / EPMS / SCADA / Power Systems<\/span>

We are seeking an experienced Controls Project Manager to support large -scale construction and infrastructure projects focused on building automation, power monitoring, and industrial control systems in Michigan City, IN.<\/span>
<\/p>

This role will oversee the delivery and coordination of controls -related scopes including BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and electrical power systems across complex commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of controls systems combined with proven project management experience leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.<\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/h2>

• Manage the full lifecycle of controls and automation projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Oversee BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and power monitoring scopes across active construction projects<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, field teams, and vendors to ensure successful project execution<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support commissioning, startup, testing, and system integration activities<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Identify and resolve technical or project -related issues proactively<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Collaborate closely with MEP, electrical, and commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle<\/span>

  Qualifications<\/span>
  <\/h2>

  • 5+ years of experience managing controls or automation projects within construction or industrial environments<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of:<\/span>
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • SCADA systems<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Power distribution and electrical infrastructure<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Experience working on mission -critical, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial projects preferred<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to manage multiple scopes and coordinate across various stakeholders<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project financials<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with controls integration, commissioning, and field coordination<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred<\/span>

      Preferred Backgrounds<\/span>

      Candidates may come from controls contractors, systems integrators, or large general contractors with experience delivering complex electrical and automation projects.<\/span>

      Experience with platforms such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Rockwell Automation, or similar systems is highly desirable.<\/span>
