Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: West Branch, Iowa (52358-4724) Work Type: Full-Time, Onsite Shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM (Candidates must be comfortable with this schedule) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to analyze plant processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting expertise and experience supporting industrial systems. Key Responsibilities Analyze plant processes and design/implement process improvements Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, controls, and manufacturing processes Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify problems and implement effective solutions Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level technical support Technical Skills Must Have Strong experience in AC/DC troubleshooting Hands-on experience as a Controls Electrician Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of: Electrical systems (AC/DC systems, transformers, generators, motor controls, circuit breakers) Blueprint reading (schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings) Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical issues in industrial machinery Mechanical troubleshooting expertise Nice to Have Allen-Bradley (A-B) PLC programming Experience working as a Controls Engineer
