Controls Engineer

Revel Staffing is on the hunt for a proficient professional to enhance and streamline the deployment, commissioning, and maintenance of cutting-edge electrical automation systems. This role will involve creating PLC/HMI programs, diagnosing and resolving issues, and supporting original equipment manufacturers across a spectrum of manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will possess a keen technical aptitude, sharp problem-solving abilities, and a knack for working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the implementation and commissioning of OEM devices at manufacturing locations, both remotely and onsite.
- Deliver expert technical service for intricate electrical automation systems.
- Diagnose and rectify control-oriented challenges in OEM machinery.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure adherence to clients' control policies and standards.
- Comply with all established safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is required, while a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of pertinent experience in controls engineering or IT systems.
- Experience with international teams is advantageous.

Technical Skills Required:
- Thorough knowledge of control system design and deployment in global manufacturing contexts.
- Skilled in diagnosing issues in electrical and electronic control systems.
- Expertise in programming with Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs.
- Proficiency in Rockwell HMI platforms such as PanelView Plus, PanelView Plus CE, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
- Familiarity with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLC programming.
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet-based industrial network structures.
