Revel Staffing is on the lookout for an Automation Systems Specialist to oversee the integration, startup, and ongoing maintenance of sophisticated electrical control systems. This position requires proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, as well as the ability to diagnose and fix issues with OEM equipment in international production environments. The successful applicant will demonstrate technical acumen, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative spirit across multi-departmental operations.
Core Duties:
- Facilitate the setup and startup of OEM machinery at international production sites both remotely and in-person.
- Deliver technical services and maintenance for electrical control infrastructures.
- Diagnose and rectify control issues within OEM systems.
- Maintain alignment with client policies and standards by cooperating with different in-house teams.
- Comply with all established safety guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
- An Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is necessary (Bachelor's degree is preferred).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field of controls engineering or IT systems.
- Experience working alongside global teams is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of designing and implementing control systems for global manufacturing setups.
- Skillful in troubleshooting electrical and electronic control systems.
- Experience with programming Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs.
- Competence with Rockwell HMI platforms such as PanelView Plus, PanelView Plus CE, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
- Experience using Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLCs.
- Familiarity with Ethernet-based industrial networks and architectures.
