Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2-8 years of experience in programming industrial controls for manufacturing process equipment, robotics, or other automated tools
- PLC, HMI, and motion programming skills are required
- AutoCAD and at least one of the following programming languages: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Ignition, etc.
- Experience selecting components and creating Bill of Materials for equipment projects
- Knowledge of Ladder Logic, VFDs, motors, networking and communication protocols, etc.
- Customer-facing experience is an advantage in this role; otherwise, must be a strong communicator
Responsibilities:
- Contribute toward the development of custom controls solutions for customers in the life science, food & beverage, renewable energy industries
- Apply knowledge of electrical systems schematics, P&IDs, flow diagrams to develop machine controls
- Specify materials for new systems builds
- Help in drafting of systems schematics, control panels, process diagrams
