A growing organization is seeking a hands-on Controller of Finance & Human Resources to oversee accounting, financial operations, and HR functions within a collaborative, multi-department environment.

This is a highly visible leadership role supporting executive management across financial strategy, operational reporting, compliance, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives. The opportunity offers broad exposure across accounting, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, budgeting, process improvement, and operational leadership.

Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis initiatives
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Coordinate audits, banking relationships, and compliance reporting
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and operational procedures
  • Lead Human Resources functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and compliance
  • Oversee compensation planning, performance management, and workforce initiatives
  • Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational growth
  • Help drive operational improvements, systems enhancements, and process efficiencies

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or operational leadership experience
  • 3+ years of Human Resources leadership or oversight experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and HR compliance
  • Experience overseeing multi-department operations preferred
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with accounting systems, payroll platforms, and HRIS systems preferred
