Must have:
• Current Controller at a large company ($100M+ in annual revenue),
OR
• Current Senior Accounting Manager or Director of Accounting level at a very large organization ($400M+ annual revenue)
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting

Nice-to-Have:
• Public Accounting experience
• Farming/Agriculture experience

Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution company with complex multi-entity operations. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing plant and corporate accounting activities, managing a team of accounting professionals, and driving accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational excellence.

This position requires a hands-on accounting leader who is highly dependable, technically strong, and comfortable working closely with operational teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance activities
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting analyses
• Oversee accounting controls, processes, and reporting accuracy across multiple business units
• Manage and develop a team of 6 accounting professionals, including AP and Senior Accounting staff
• Partner closely with Payroll, HR, Compliance, and Operations leadership
• Drive process improvements and strengthen accounting procedures and internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analytics initiatives
• Assist executive leadership with strategic financial reporting and decision support

Must have:
