Key tasks include managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance, including the ACFR and federal awards.
The role involves monitoring internal controls, coordinating audits, implementing GASB standards, and ensuring adherence to GAAP.
The Controller provides financial planning, advises departments on fiscal matters, and supports long-term financial initiatives.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting, seven years of professional experience with three in supervision, with preferred CPA and municipal accounting experience.
Salary ranges from $81,328 to $132,704.
