Base Salary: $150,000 BOE

We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations for a multifamily real estate portfolio.

This is a high-impact, onsite role requiring someone who can step in quickly, lead a team, and take full ownership of the accounting function.

Required Qualifications (must have):
* Current, hands-on experience with Entrata
* Recent multifamily/property accounting experience
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
* Full ownership of month-end close and financial reporting
* Proven supervisory or team leadership experience

Step-up candidates must have:
* Current multifamily experience
* Active, hands-on use of Entrata
* Demonstrated leadership or oversight of others

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
* Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
* Manage property-level accounting including tenant activity and revenue recognition
* Supervise and develop a team of 5-6 accounting professionals
* Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting
* Maintain and strengthen internal controls
* Identify and implement process improvements
* Partner with leadership on financial and operational reporting

Preferred:
* CPA or CPA track
* Experience in multi-entity or portfolio environments
* Experience with process improvement or system implementations
