A private organization is seeking an experienced CPA-designated Controller to lead its accounting function and support senior leadership on financial planning and strategic initiatives. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader who excels in fast-moving environments and can manage complex, high-volume activity with accuracy and discipline. This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys working with and collaborating with operations and for someone to be the right-hand to the CFO.


Controller Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all core accounting processes, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Lead monthly close activities and ensure integrity of financial data.
• Manage audits, tax coordination, and internal controls.
• Support leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and analytical insight.
• Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and automation.
• Provide direction and development to a small accounting team.

Controller Qualifications:

• CPA required
• At least 5 years of experience leading accounting functions at the Controller level
• Needs experience from a small - mid size organization 
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Proven ability to streamline processes and leverage technology
• Clear communicator with strong leadership presence
