Job Details

The Controller will oversee all financial and accounting operations for a luxury automotive dealership environment. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing reporting processes, and supporting operational growth through financial analysis and strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll functions
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and financial reporting requirements
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff while improving internal processes
  • Conduct financial analysis and cost management initiatives
  • Maintain and optimize ERP systems and financial software tools

Qualifications:
  • Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience with general accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll operations
  • Knowledge of tax compliance, auditing, and regulatory reporting procedures
  • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Prior leadership experience within accounting or finance teams preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in Akron, Ohio
